Bike Hire for Big Mountain Challenge 2024

Avoid the hassle of boxing up your own bike and have a full-carbon road bike, geared for the mountains, waiting for you on arrival.

Bike hire needs to be reserved and paid for in advance. Bikes are available at a reduced price of £175pp for the event.

You’ll need to bring your own pedals, lights and head-unit mounts. It is also worth considering bringing your own saddle too, to ensure your full comfort on the long rides.

Please do let us know any requirements as far in advance as possible in order to secure the right bike in the size you require as they are on a first come, first served basis.

Bike Hire Payment
Once we have processed your bike hire request the bike hire cost (£175pp) will be added to your event booking. Payment is then made along with your full balance payment 6 weeks prior to the event start date, or immediately for bookings made within 7 weeks from the date of your arrival. Payments can be made securely online by credit/debit card using your online guest / booking portal.

Bike Hire Terms and Conditions
Completing the booking request below requires acceptance of the following Bike Hire Terms and Conditions.

By making a booking to hire a bicycle, I acknowledge and agree that Bike Weekender assumes no responsibility or liability for any injury, damage, or loss incurred while renting or operating the bicycle(s) provided. I agree that I am solely liable and agree to pay for any damage and loss or injury occasioned to me, or my property, or caused by me to any other persons or property. I further acknowledge that it is my responsibility to inspect the bicycle(s) for defects or damages prior to use, and to wear appropriate safety gear such as helmets, etc. and to ride in accordance with any local rules and regulations that apply. I acknowledge that by entering in to a rental contract for the hire of a bicycle I release Bike Weekender, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, or actions arising out of, or related to, the use of the rented bicycle(s), including but not limited to accidents, injuries, or property damage. Additionally, I agree to take full control of the hire equipment and assume total responsibility and agree to pay Bike Weekender for any damages or losses incurred due to negligence or misuse of the rented bicycle(s).
